Portal: Still Alive has just been released on the Xbox Live Arcade, but is it worth the $15 price tag? Well ... if you have already played the original Portal then, no, probably not.

Portal is great, yada yada yada, we already knew that. Covered it in 2007. But this product? The same game again, for $15, with some bonus maps thrown in that other people can play for free? I'm less inclined to blow sunshine up its ass. If you somehow missed Portal the first time around, and don’t own a PC, and aren’t interested in The Orange Box, you…probably don’t exist as a real person. And won't be needing this. But hey, just in case you did tick all those boxes, Portal’s great, check this out.

Meh, I loved the game as a standalone purchase. I didn't like The Orange Box enough to buy all those games, but since I haven't got to play Portal since I rented the Box, it was fun as hell going through the experience of the game again, and the extra maps were just icing on the cake (that is a lie..har har). New achievements were a nice touch too.

The game on PC is $20 stand alone, I am not sure why they wouldn't have mentioned that in the article, seeing as how you get it on XBLA for less (packaged with those extra maps).
