Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery - my mother always told me that. And I believed her. When playing Saints Row 2 you cannot help but notice the similarities with GTA. The difference here is that this game is better!

They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. If that is true then Volition Inc. (and by associated THQ) are downright besotted by Rockstar Games. Such is the similarity between Saints Row 2 and the all conquering behemoth that is Grand Theft Auto 4. I am sure that just as many with be put off by its GTA-alike approach as are enthused, but it would be a great shame if punters were not to look past the similar styling’s and mechanics to see what lies underneath. Because this is no groundhog day, Saints Row 2 isn’t a copy of it idol, it is standing on the shoulders of the giant, dropping its trousers and farting right in its face!

    The problem here is, thats not true. Its an opinion and no matter how you slice it, opinions aren't factual by any means which is why its called opinions.

    I will not deny that the game is very fun, but I would never down right claim its better overall to GTA4, especially considering both games are different.
