OXCGN writer Sith Lord Jim writes up his review on the most anticipated 360 game this year. SLip over to the site, read away and let us know your thoughts.

I have mixed feelings about the game myself, as do some others. It seems like "something"? is missing somewhere . . but you be the judge and let us know how you're finding the game. Plus don't forget to enter the Gears Of War Comp on site, over $500 worth of prizes are up for grabs.

I was a very big fan of Epic’s Gears of War, but even I can say that it had quite a few things wrong with it. The biggest of these problems was the storyline, it was not conveyed very well, and left the gamer more confused than anything.

Then there were all the multiplayer problems like glitches, and host powers making the player who was host way more deadly than anyone else. Gears 1 was not a perfect game, but it was damn good fun. Gears of War 2 attempts to alleviate those issues, and for the most part it really has improved on a formula I thought would be hard to top.

GoW2 continues the story of Marcus and Dom, COG soldiers fighting for the survival of the human race, against the locust. This time around the story isn’t just there to move on the action. There is real emotional depth to the still overly macho storyline.

Persoanlly I have very mixed feeling about this game. After playing it for an hour or two, it felt like there was/is something definitely missing in it, an dthegraphical issues in it shouldn't be there for agame of its calibure. If Far Cry 2 can dish out environments and interactivity like it does using the same hardware, then Gears 2 should be able to do the same if not better, seeing it's using the UnReal Engine 3 . . .

Although I believe that to has reached its peak, and is being surpassed by many newer engines now.
