Rhythm games have become a phenomenon, and with popularity comes choice. Even with more and more of the genre coming out, Rock Band 2 has been able to stand out from the rest.

    I must say. Not playing either yet (Am going to very soon) RB2 does look like the better pickup.

    RB2 sounds pretty awesome to me. Rhythm games have always been one-player, here's one that you can play with friends, family, etc. Great music, too!!! =D

      Not true, most if not all rhythm games had some sort of multiplayer feature. But it was always competative multiplayer. In other words trying to beat each other at something.

      Rock band was the first rhythm game (that I'm aware of) to introduce co-op gameplay. Which creates a new dimension. Not hoping or wanting the other person to fail or suck but actually trying to help them win.
