PS3Center.Net reviews EA's latest title; Mirror's Edge for the PlayStation 3 console. Mirror's Edge isn't going to win everyone over due to the lack of an interesting combat system and dull story line...

"Mirror's Edge is definitely an odd beast. Not only does it persuade gamers to use their mind, it asks them to avoid conflict and violence in pursuit of running away from the action. Can gamers truly be convinced to drop their guns and exit stage left when the bullets begin flying?"

    Seriously, I think its about time we have a game like this. It has action without the need for the constant use of a weapon.

    I still prefer action games to have some use of weapons. It's just more natural and something I'm used to.
