Let's be fair here - can you actually remember a good Spider-man game? When you hear that a new Spider-man game is coming out - I bet your not even remotely interest. And after that intro - Gaming Verdict presents their review of Spider-man: Web of Shadows. Enjoy.

Spider-Man, Spider-Man, does whatever a spider can... well almost at least, I mean he can’t give a poison bite that stuns prey nor can he scare children in a hokey ghost train ride at the Brighton seafront. Not that this matters when a teenager is granted wall climbing, web slinging, crook bashing and smart quipping abilities. Although with it does come some degree of responsibility.

The original Spiderman game for the PSX was amazing.

It was quite 'cliche,' but yeah it was good. And I remember Maximum Carnage and Separation Anxiety as good games. Spidey 2 was also pretty good, one of the better game-adaptation of a film out there.

Spidey: WoS is decent to me, especially in the combat field. The choices you make are pretty good, would make you play it over to see what else can happen.

The only SpiderMan games that hasn't been that spectacular was the movie incarnations iirc(even though I liked them). I disagree with your review, but to each their own.

This game seems to a good 8.0-8.5/10. And I rented it and played it and I enjoyed it. But I usually end up liking most Spiderman Games. So perhaps im biased on the game.
