OXCGN reviews the newest iteration of the Ubisoft classic, Prince Of Persia. This time in a beautiful cell-shader style that really does show the game off to its best.

Head over to the site, check out the detailed review, the pics and some videos for you to check out while you are there.

Much like the recent Batman or James Bond films, Ubisoft Montreal is seeking to follow this Hollywood trend of reinvention and re-boot the Prince of Persia series again. The original 3D reinvention, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, was hailed by the critics but oddly didn’t sell as well as it should have. Nevertheless, it is now viewed as a classic.

The inevitable sequel, Prince of Persia: Two Thrones, followed and much like many sequels seemed to fail to live up to the first game. Then, again as in many trilogies, The Prince Of Persia: Warrior Within also didn’t fully live up to expectations.

I don't see why everyone bashes QTE?
I saw the first part of the level at my friends and it looks good. He'll let me barrow it, but this is a good score.

I also don't like how you can't die in the game.

Oh and I didn't realise natalie portman looked like elika. Strange.

Nice review. Look at Natalie portman, Elika is the spitting image of her.

I'm not usually a fan of cell-shaded graphics, but they look absolutely stunning in this game. Really beautiful.

Same here, not overly fond of cell-shaded games either, but there's 'something' about it that I find compelling.
