One of the yoga classes on the Wii Fit, allows you to push-ups. Afterwards, it will asses you and give you hints for improvement. This feature of "exergaming" has been enhanced and is now an app for the iPhone. I'm not too sure of how this would work, but who would have though. "Exergaming" on your phone.

Of interest to the competitive, PushupFu also lets you join tracked leagues and go head-to-head in a chest-building Battle Mode. It also has a built in course that promises to train you to do 100 push ups, no mean feat.

This takes me back to my days of doing push ups during Final Fantasy VII loading screens. Man, I was ripped by the time I got that Gold Chocobo. And, thanks to my recent PushupFu purchase I plan to be... well, marginally more physically fit than I am now. Who wants to step to this (about six weeks from today)?

Competing with the Wii? Hardly. Nuff said.

This is just insane. The iPhone is NOT a gaming console NOR AN EXERCISE MACHINE! (Unlike the Wii which is both. )
Seriously, the things people do with iPhones these days. At least that Light Saber application was fun to shake around.

I really hate it when people call the wii exercise. It's called getting up and working out yourself. The wii is by no means an exercise machine.

It was meant to be like a joke, man. Hence the smilie. Of course, I know the Wii isn't an exercise machine.
Though I fail to see the difference between exercising and "getting up and working out"...

Haha, sorry, I just figured we'd see someone say "Iphone competing with the wii? No way, there's no competition! . . . The Iphone blows the wii out of the water!"

But I guess we just saw that comment didn't we? haha, had to say it.

In seriousness though, is Iphone really trying to be a gaminging system? Sheesh, that is insane. I don't think I'll ever be able to see a phone being an actual gaming system.

I know. It's completely mad. As if the iPhone is ever in the same league as the wii fit. There's no point in tryig.

Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of the iPhone however comparing it to be as good as the wii? No chance.

Different league, different quality all together.
