OXCGN writer and father takes a look at Microsoft's leap into the home entertainment quarter with LIPS.

Is it good, bad or indifferent, will it capture the demographic that MGS is after, and of course - does it actually work . . . ?

Well the writer and family did seem to enjoy themselves, so check out the review for yourself.

Now before I begin with this review I need to make a few things clear to the reader. I am approaching this as a gamer and certainly not as a singer. So keep this in mind:

1) I do not sing. I don’t sing in the shower, in the car, doing any form of work and especially not around friends or family (and strangers for that matter).

2) I have never played a home karaoke or been invited to a party where there was a set-up and I have stayed clear from Singstar on both PS2 and PS3.

Have you seen the Lips commercial (the cute little lips with legs) or the introduction video on the game? Don’t buy this game if you see yourself playing the game like shown.

Chances are you wont be sitting around in your trendy apartments with stylish friends singing perfect duets of Young Folks.

7.5? Comparing to the other reviews I have read, LIPS got scores of around 5 and lower.

And what the hell does that have to do with anything? Its not like all the reviews are linked to one overlord or something.

Each interview is just a reflection of the reviewers thoughts on the game.
