Since the video game that came in hand with the Spiderman 2 movie, the series has taken a swing for the best, adopting one of the greatest free roaming experiences available within video games. If you want to break a low-score record, play Spidey: Friend or Foe, or that rebooted Sonic game that came out two+ years ago.
(Seems you get the glitch too. Let's hope this thing doesn't spread!!)
Yea, the voice is a bit odd at first. But I got used to it pretty fast and after a while I didn't even notice. Spidy has had so many voices in my life time that it has to be something really grating for it to bother me.
And i don't think Spider-man 2 movie tie in was the greatest Spidy game. It was average and only really interesting because of that one element. Now if developers can learn to tell a great story while incorporating the sandbox play with INTERESTING side missions we will really have something. But WoS brought out the best combat system for Spidy to date. And a pretty decent story to boot. They continue in that vein with the typical improvements that a series should get and they will have something really great.
The story was a little on the lame side for me, though. I mean, barely any explanation as to how the city hit chaos so fast, and Venom's strange symbiote spawning ability was quite out there but eh, it stayed centralized to the plot. The decisions we get to make were great.
