Probably one of the most known FPS's this year Resistance 2 fell short on its gameplay this time around. The review covers the basic storyline and gameplay throughout the game and most notably the disappointment on level design.

I have to say, it was lucky that the original Resistance: Fall of Man was a launch title, or the series may not have had such a good forecast, but it shifted a lot of units and proved popular, hence why a second was obviously brewing at Insomniac Studios.

I think most of the disappointment comes from expectations being way too high.

No, I think the most disappoitnment was how they changed to many things from the first game that made it great. I still think its a good game, but rfom was much better.

Finally! A review that I totally agree with.

How this score got a few 100/100 scores is beyond me, it's so average it's unreal.

Personally the Beta really turned me off because of the "MMORPG Syndrome" (nicely named) called out in the article. I still have it on my list for a possible future buy, but not holding my breathe......my shelf and short list is full LMAO

It's probably the only game I actually play with friends. Not to mention I'm still stuck up on the whole 40-60 player standard that I was spoiled with...
