Games We Love but Wish We Could Love Playing

OXCGN newbie James Harvey does his bit on the new Xbox 360 exclusive racing sim from SimBin . . By all accounts, this game could well challenge the mighty Forza 2 (until Forza 3 arrives of course jk) from its lofty perch.
Slip along, check out the great review, there are bucket loads of great images and videos to check out as well. SO what are you doing here, . . .get over there now . . . ;-)
Race Pro had a lot to live up to. Maybe not in Halo or Gears of War proportions, but for motorsport enthusiasts around the world, this game could single-handedly evolve the console racing genre forever. And for those motorsport enthusiasts reading, dont worry. It does.
Traditionally, console racing games have thrown around the simulation tag far too frequently in the past. Weve seen it claimed by many franchises; Forza Motorsport and Gran Turismo to name the most poignant two. And whilst they might of taken the genre by the scruff of the neck, its hardly fair to call them simulations - especially when compared with the likes of Simbins own GTR series, or the massively popular rFactor on the PC.
Race Pro sets the tone straight away; simple, easy to use navigation without getting flashy. Its not a game for the mainstream. But then again, it never was going to be. So from the menu screen youre offered Single Race, Career, Championship, Hot Seat, and Multiplaye

Soon as this one lands on my desk, it'll be straight into the retail 360 and off i go.
The ONE major thing gamers MUSt remember with 'these' types of racers . .You need to dedicate time and have patience, otherwise, simply do NOT goo there.
It's not a game for the Arcade nitro burning smash-n-dashers . . .you will NOT be tolerated on boxLIve or organized races, and you'll definitely get extremely frustrated with learning curve.
But having said that, if you are in the mood for a change to some solid competition where your SKILL is more important, then this is for you.
As for the review, really well written! Love to see a review actually providing facts and giving off some good information and comparisons, rather than stringing together some seemingly witty puns and anecdotes to portray what usually is an unsubstantial claim.
Do you own the site XboxOZ. I really think you do a wonderful job with your reviews and blogs and such. I have spent the last few days just going through it all. Definately replaces IGN for me in regards to all things XBOX. You have a fantastic setup and I hope nothing compromises that in the future.
PS. (Get me a Jansen avatar for Gamegrep and I shall <3 you for days..)
We hope to turn it into a commercail thing to help cover costs and attend functions etc. So we're pushing for sponsors as much as we can.
I'mnot a spring chicken either, and I suppose thathelps with som elife experiences I can move across to the team and site.
It will be undergoing a slight visual massgae soon. Not drastic, just slightly wider in two colunms and allowing some ad space and more room.
But its all a learning experience for me, never did html before, and it's an interesting learning curve.

please feel free to come along.
I would love to donate to you guys. In saying that, it may only be 100 bucks a month or something, but I think you have a fantastic site and would love to see it grow.
HTML wise, I love the layout. Unlike IGN, you keep it clean, fresh and very easy to navigate. Too many a site, where the navigation is blatently frigid and painful to use, I just give up and quit.
Your onto a fantastic thing there, cannot wait to see how it progresses!
We're now 285,126 ranks (ALexa) globally (xboxoz360gamer.com was ranked 245,000 before we changed the name, which pushed us right down to 23rd millionth. Now we're up to 285,126 as mentioned above, and that should shift into the mid 100's next 3 months. Our aim is the top 100k globally before the end of the year, if not better.
Like I said, simply PM or email, you may be able to help in other ways as well.
