Another reason that the battles are so fun in the game is that killing innocent woodland creatures is always a great stress reliever. Much to the joy of horrible people across the world, it's totally possible to lay the pimp hand down on happy little spiders, dog people things, and bigfoot. Again, I don't mean to give away any spoilers, but I can and shall confirm that for the first time in an RPG, you WILL level up your party by killing bigfoot.
