The last Grand Theft Auto game on a Nintendo platform sucked. GTA Advance was a shell of its console brethren, with terrible controls, graphics and gameplay. It was, in short, a phone-in. Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is not that game. Picture a world in which GTA never entered the 3D, behind-the-back realm which made it famous. What if it stayed as a top-down, arcade-y, balls-out action game? Chinatown Wars is just that, and it is easily one of the best games on the DS.
