And so the list continues. In ninth place comes Xmen Legends 2 and in the eighth spot comes it's younger offspring; Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Both stellar games for the portable system, and Resumplay explains why.
Marvel comics ruled supreme on the Playstation 2 and all consoles of the same generation. Treated with such classics such as pioneering sandbox, Spiderman 2, followed by a chain of similar games, including the must-have Hulk: Incredible Destruction, only proved that Marvel had hit the nail on the head. Though they may not be fairing so well on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 with titles such as Web of Shadows, things can only get better. In their day, Marvel even dived down multiple genre chutes to experiment, eventually formulating one of my favourite action RPGs, X-men Legends. Though a greenhorn gamer on purchase, Legends proved to me how one game could merge two things that wouldn’t have seemed logical to merge before.
