Instead of heading straight to the mainstream console to review the game, Resumplay reviews the DS handheld counterpart. A mildly funny review, without trying to mock the game, but it lives up to be a movie tie-in title.

As for the gameplay itself, Origins plays out exactly like a 2D side-scroller in which you plough through wave after wave of soldiers, mutants, robots etc. until you reach your goal. You are able to combine light and heavy attacks with the option of combining the moves with jumps and dashes. Wolverine will also be able to block and parry to disorientate foes, but apart from that it’s just a three hour slash fest, with so little diversity, it’s unbelievable. In fact the only relief you get is the five second sprint to the next room or chamber to wait to be ambushed by another flow of enemies. The tight rooms mean that you can hardly dive anywhere to pull off some savage moves, instead you find yourself tutrling (gamer term for crouch and block) in the corner of the room, waiting to find a break in the enemies’ offence.

The best movie games in my opinion were Eragon(a zelda clone, but had fluid animation and awesome gameplay) and Transformers Autos and Decepti's(free roaming was cool, and scanning and customizing and crap)
