Crystal Defenders has come out for the iPhone and iPod, with an $8 price tag. But this brings up the question, can developers get past the stigma of the "cell phone game"?

Rich and I will be the first ones to tell you that it is hard to find a decent game for the iPhone. They are there, but its just sifting through the ton of crap to find that diamond. But believe you me, they are there, and Crystal Defenders is shiny one

This game is one, if not the best, game on the iPod Touch/iPhone. I love their version 2.0 update, they made the gameplay so much better. This game is worth the eight bucks.

I have it for the 360. Unless it's rather different on the iPhone, I'd say it's an alright investment at $8, but should probably be less. The game is fun, but lacks a significant amount of polish, especially when compared to some other tower defense games.

Spending 8$ on a game for your iPhone or iPod I think TBH is kinda stupid especially when you can get it with better graphics on other consoles.

And carry it around with you? $8 is hardly anything for a quality game.

I agree with Xenctuary, particularly when you don't have any other console but iPhone or iPod Touch. I don't know why people tend to forget that not everyone is owning a 360, PS3 or any other console.
