Thanks to a generous friend, Resumeplay gets it's hands on an imported Demon's Souls with English menus & dub. The review covers practically everything you need to know and is currently only the 5th professional review from western reviewists. Click to read!

Obviously your first question is how could I come across a copy of Demon’s Souls while living in Northern Ireland? Simple answer, Demon’s Souls has already been dubbed and translated into English in Japan and the retail version there is easily ordered via Play-Asia or, slightly more risky, Ebay. So anyway, what do you know about Demon’s Souls? Or a better question, what should you know? Well for a start Demon’s Souls is developed by From Software and is legally a PS3 exclusive game that is currently on shelves and selling well in the far away land of Japan. Here, in Ireland as well as USA & UK, it hasn’t even been confirmed. However, for a sickeningly sour price of nearly £60, roughly $100, it can be yours. No I didn’t buy it, a rather idiotic friend did and I have the leisure of ‘borrowing’ his games for as long as needed to review them. Demon’s Souls is no exception. With that cleared up, let us begin.

Now if only this would release outside Japan. Though I heard there is no pause option; add that please.

No way! The that you can't pause is what makes it so tense, you can't leave the game alone or you WILL die!

Yeah, but if I gotta take a dump in the middle of a quest, I don't want to lose all my progress. It's kinda forceful to not let you get up.
