Call of Duty Black Ops Voted ‘Best Game Ending’ Of All Time

Following up on our X-Men Origins preview from last month, Neoseeker's Lydia Sung gives her opinion on how the "Uncaged Edition" of the game fared in the end.
In short: pretty good! The game is by no means perfect, but manages to not suck despite its flaws anyway.
Have a read, wontcha.
Turns out, the full game doesn't absolutely tank. Don't get me wrong, this isn't going to be the best title you ever shove into your disc drive, but X-Men Origins: Wolverine Uncaged Edition does rattle our expectations, especially after the last Wolverine-based video game left such a bad taste in our mouths.
With the Origins game, Activision and Raven Software have stated their goal of truly capturing Wolverine's unique character and abilities -- powerful rage attacks, animal instincts, regeneration. They made good on that promise, and the end result is an exceptionally visceral experience devoid of pesky details like character development and engaging storyline. After a gruesome cinematic introduction, Logan is dumped from a helicopter into the jungles of Africa, and you, the player, are allowed to take over right from the start, surrounded by a small band of guerilla fighters. Whether you start mashing buttons or follow the tips popping up at the bottom of the screen, you'll quickly get into the swing of butchering your opponents. Within seconds, the ground will be littered with decapitated bodies and severed limbs, while blood flies with every slash or stab; you'll be seeing a lot of that in X-Men Origins.

Raven Software does good work, at least. Fun game, can't give a super high score because it lacks a lot of things, but it's definitely worth your time. Favorite move has to be where Wolvie rips the guy's arm off and beats him with it.
The various versions do seem drastically different. I believe on the Wii version, you start out in the Canadian wilderness, not Africa. Think PSP version has a press review average of 5.x out of 10.
Gotta say it does look quite cool from the videos though
Not saying it comes even close to the hack n' slash perfection of the GoW series, but it's certainly a half-decent attempt.
The regen works well, combat is simple but good fun and the story is close enough to the film without being a spoiler
