This week Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw has a go at Sucker Punch's sandboxy game inFamous.

Lots of laughs in this one as always -- all in all, he quite liked the game though has some major qualms.

Give it a look at the source.

pleasantly surprised yatzee liked it, considering he has slated off some really good games in the past

He likes quite a few games that he's reviewed, but his style is to expose their flaws in a humourous way.

This definitely puts the game up one in my book. He's right about the morale systems though, espeically since Infamous was supposed to be more indepth than just good/evil.

I thought the morale system in Bioshock was quite well done..though yeah, there wasn't any real grey area. The only game(s) I know of that've pulled it off properly are Fallout / Fallout 2, though I assume there's more.

I thought that KOTOR's morale system worked out pretty well. I don't know how I'd feel playing through it right now since it's been so dang long since I last played it.

Ah, didn't play cause of drm.
Similar to Mass Effect though, maybe? That seemed like another case of it not affecting much, but I didn't play the game too long.

I guess now that I'm looking back on it, it didn't change too much of the game. Well you should still play the game anyways, it's worth it. "Save kitties or cannibalise youths" those are such good options lol.

He's right. The gameplay is fun but when it comes to the choice of good or evil, it's way too black and white.

    He likes it?

    It's obviously good...but is it 'buying-a-PS3-for-it' good?

"All very well, but how does he jerk off"
