Electronic Theatre offers an in-depth review of Codemasters and Team17's recently released Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust, available now on Xbox 360 and PC.
Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust is not an unattractive game. Though the visual design may be somewhat bland in certain areas, the limited amount of central characters do emit a great deal of personality. As with much of the game, each of the characters may just as well have “bad” or “good”, “smart” or “dumb”, “slutty” or “frigid” tattooed across their forehead as much as giving them the familiarising lines of trite dialogue, but once again, long-time series fans will be fully prepared for this. The voice cast features a long list of recognisable talent, some of which obviously took more of a liking to the idea of acting within a videogame to others.
