RealTriggers are a must have for shooters, but work great for almost any PlayStation 3 game. They install in literally a snap. Just pop them on the L2 and R2 buttons and you are ready to go.

One argument some Xbox 360 owners have against the DualShock 3 is the lack of “triggers” for the lower shoulder buttons. Gioteck has remedied this issue nicely and any shooter fan should not be without RealTriggers.

Isn't this product like . . . REALLY old? Old as in at least a year old? I've read many many reviews on this product and others like it and most say it might work a little better but feels and looks tacky.

They are pretty old, wife got me some for Christmas. But no, I wouldn't say they look and feel tacky. They actually are excellent, and I won't play without them. The little lip at the bottom keeps your finger nice and snug in place.....no slippage!

Slippage? Your controller is usually greasy? Because thast's the only reason I can think of that makes it slip...at all.

If you grip the R2/L2 buttons tightly, it's actually quite easy for your fingers to slip and release the buttons. It's happened to me a few times, usually with a driving game that requires holding R2 to accelerate.

          It's a bit annoying sometimes.

See that's awkward, because it never actually happened to me, no matter how I press it. And I can't see it happening more than once either. Unless...of course the controller's greasy.

You're one of the lucky ones I suppose. No, my controller isn't greasy. However I do live in Arizona and shit can get sweaty in the Summer.

I think it's only happened to me because I get really into racing games. I rarely play them, but when I do, I usually grip the controller about as hard as I can.

Actually, now that I think about it...I'm sort of that way with most games.

The story linked was recent, although the product has been out.
At only $5, they seem like they would be worth trying.

I want to get those. I reckon they would make shooting games much more fun for me.

Wow! This is pretty awesome, considering you don't have to buy a whole new fricken controller.

I've got a set of these already and they don't make any difference for me, my brother seems to love them though.
