Impressions of the GRIN-developed Bionic Commando. I provide details on why I originally planned on skipping the game, and explain why I'm glad I didn't.

Although the plot is a tad convoluted, it’s still interesting and the game features convincing characters. Nathan Spencer, the Bionic Commando, is voiced by Mike Patton of Faith No More fame. Patton does a fantastic job bringing Spencer to life and thanks to his performance, the character is both believable and very likeable. The voice acting in general is of high caliber and because numerous titles have been plagued by appalling voiceovers lately, it’s refreshing to see a game shine in this regard.
