In the genre of platforming games, there are very few titles that have the ability to stand out from the crowd. The formula for platformers is always the same: Go from one end of the level to other and don’t fall off of the moving platform or into the treacherous lava. Somehow Twisted Pixel has found a way to take the basic mechanics of a platformer and make it into a brand new experience with ‘Splosion Man. This game is literally bursting with personality and humor throughout the game which is what really makes it stand out. It might just seem like another 2D platformer but ‘Splosion Man combines classic platforming with puzzle solving and a great multiplayer experience to give gamers an exciting new way to play a platformer.
