Aldon Piestch "the undead" of www.theknightsofgaming.com gives his demo impressions of the game Wet. His thoughts on guns akimbo and what to expect from the game overall.

This demo doesn't give any great intro to the story, villain has macguffin you seek and you are implored to violently dispatch every last person in your periphery. You know that scene from Jackie Brown about the AK-47, think that mentality. Rubi, the femme fatale, is armed with two pistols and samurai sword; good for all of those situations when you need to kill every last... you know the rest. She comes off formulaic, bad ass beautiful psychotic slayer of movie film thugs, we have all seen it before though this girl has one of the foulest mouths that I can recall in recent gaming memory.

No. It was just a toned down version of Stranglehold. A rental at most.

Funny that people say that as I played the demo of Stranglehold and thought the game was ok but not good enough to play the whole game, thus I've only played the demo and have no intention on getting the game.

WET on the other hand kicked major arse imo and I am definitely getting it.

I'll get it if I ever see it in the bargain bin under $20.

For now it seems like good fun, but it also looks like it's going to be very short and isn't that much anyways.

    No.

I had high hopes for the game, but I thought the demo was just terrible, the only good thing being the 70s soundtrack. I'd get this only if it were free, maybe.

The demo made the game an instant day one purchase for me.
