This is a review of Demon's Souls from a website called gamesand.me This is a new gaming website that's climbing up the ranks. This review was written by Oscar a.k.a. Shintai123 (I am guessing that's his user name?)

It's a detailed review about the game that uses an interesting score system of recommending games based on who you are as a gamer rather than a general score. It explains which each symbol means thankfully so new members of the site won't be lost with this unique scoring system.

Go check out the source to see how he felt about the game.

I wish all reviews were like this. Then we could avoid all the fanboy squabbling, and you can begin to appreciate the game for what it offers, rather than simply attributing it a numerical value that doesn't do it any justice.

Haha, I am gonna be honest here, I was the one who wrote the review, so thank you.

Gamesandme does written and podcast reviews, so there's going to be a podcast review of this game aswell to go with the written one, if you're interested.

Nice job, Zero, like this review style.
I'll be picking this game up soon, but there's also the matter of playing through Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.

Thank you, we worked hard on trying to come up with a new way to review games and we think this was the best way.

Yeah I am looking forward to Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 aswell, the demo was alot of fun.

If there was a way for us to make this kind of reviewing mainstream, I think the world of game reviewing would be a much friendlier place. I think you guys may have struck gold with this reviewing method, and that's the truth.

That's a little weird you pretended it wasn't you. Don't be shy.

      Thank you!

We're a small site, but we're trying our best.

    Fantastic review!

Didn't go all witty with stupid anecdotes and symbolism like the garbage-mouthed IGN/Gamespot reviewers. I want to know a game is good. The positive, and the negative. By the way, I absolutely love your rating system. Numerical scores need to fast become a thing of the past. If only the bigger sites took notice of the way your reviewing.

    Look forward to more reviews!

Thank you for the kind words! This is my first text review for the site so I am glad to hear such things about it.

Bigger sites are too concerned with Metacritic and publisher opinions, Neoseeker included.
Tragically, gamesand.me's system will almost certainly never take off for these reasons.

I wouldn't say never, gamesandme is growing every day. I think there are alot of people who are getting tired of numerical scores for games and they will come to gamesandme for something different.
