EA’s NBA Live series used to be able to keep up with the powerhouse that is NBA 2K but in recent years the Live franchise has been stuck in the D-League. This year EA went back to the drawing board with their title and started from the basics. They wanted to put an emphasis on improving both the gameplay and the presentation for NBA Live 10. This meant that they would have to cut back on the numerous modes normally seen in an EA Canada title. Although NBA Live 10 lacks some of the modes we have grown accustomed to, the gameplay and presentation has improved so much that this year’s title gives 2K10 a run for it’s money.
