Kotaku recently reviewed the upcoming Tekken 6, highlighting what they loved and hated about the game.

Go to the source for the full review...

One of the only fighting games I've ever bothered to try and deeply understand outside of Street Fighter is Tekken. There's something about the mechanics, and ability to button tap control each limb, that I love.

While Tekken 6 hit Japanese arcades in 2007 and 2008, those of us without a booming arcade scene have had to patiently wait. For those of you who only own an Xbox 360, the wait has been even longer. Was it worth it? Let's see.

Ok the so the review is fine in my book but comment on the review was as dumb as thinking 1+1=3.

"The gameplay is stiff and hasn't changed since Tekken 1"

So I gess he's only ever played Tekken 1.

Hm, some fair points. A lot of people are annoyed by the load times for a game of today's standards, and don't like the scenario mode. :S Eh, the fighting itself is good, that's what really matters.

Can you see your characters equip items/alt colors/ect? Tekken 5 on PS3 pissed me off where you can't see what you equipped, and fighting ghosts was annoying. I spent lots of money on different items to go in game and see that they sucked.

I could always see what i equipped on my characters. Maybe there was something wrong with your game?

I mean from a submenu of some kind, before you head into a fight. I saw what I equipped, but AFTER I started a match, not before so I can see what each item looks like

Hmm, probably not gonna get this game until it's down in price by at least half, it just doesn't seem to be that good.

The one thing that I agree on their list of disappointments is the load times. They're definitely excessive, but I just installed it to my hard-drive so I'm gonna check out how that works out.

I've been playing online for two days now and I've honestly encountered very little lag. I only experienced it on two different occasions, in which it sorted itself out after a round.

While there is a definite emphasis placed on the campaign, it's not like the other modes have suffered or anything really. They're all still there in pretty much their regular glory. Sure, campaign can get repetitive if you aren't doing it for the trophies/achievements or the customization items, but the stages only take you a few minutes to blast through.
