Electronic Theatre delivers an in-depth review of the PlayStation 3 release of NBA Live 10 from EA SPORTS, also available on Xbox 360 and PlayStation Portable.

The creation tools are fantastic, with perhaps more scope in NBA Live 10 than any of EA SPORTS’ other annual franchise releases this year. The lack of a progression system similarly balanced to FIFA 10’s Be A Pro Mode may disappoint some, but the finesse with which a created player takes to the court is almost enough compensation. The animation throughout is stunning, with those editable replays highlighting just how much detail in every frame makes those jerseys flutter with a player’s incidental movements.
