Our review of the latest episode in Telltale Games' Tales of Monkey Island. Don't be fooled by Guybrush's typical invulnerability, however, because "The Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood" delivers what it's title suggests!

As I mentioned, even with the trial and error, this is probably the strongest installment of the Tales of Monkey Island series puzzle-wise. The tough stuff doesn’t frustrate too easily, thanks to many of the more difficult puzzles having several stages to them. This allows a couple of small victories which, along with improving your general mood, will help point you in the right direction for the solution. There are a few head scratchers (like the static electricity puzzle) that will have you searching your vocabulary for appropriate curse words, but these are by far the minority, and the rest of the episode will cheerfully convince you to persevere.
