After widely successful and popular music games such as Rock Band and Guitar Hero, players world wide now have opportunity to exchange fake guitars for turntables and show what they know in DJ Hero.
The music/rhythm game genre has been at a bit of a standstill since the release of Rock Band. Going around, and around in circle of squeals and rip offs of those squeals, nothing has really been put forth to break the seemingly endless cycle. That is, until the release of DJ Hero. Attempting to put a new spin on the music game genre, DJ Hero takes players from the role of the creators of music to that of the Disk Jockey. The question is, does this new spin on the rhythm genre skip a beat or hit all the notes?
