The battle between two famous sport franchises for domination over virtual soccer playgrounds continues. FIFA's biggest rival is out, bringing some fresh changes, mostly to graphics. But, would it be enough for conquering a throne?

Sports games are a bit notorious for being slow to add additional features. In the place of new features is a endless march of yearly roster updates and with minor tweaks here or there. EA has been the leader in sports games in recent years, with the lead game of the soccer genre under their banner, the FIFA series. Trailing behind the FIFA series in recent years has been Pro Evolution Soccer, falling just short year after year. With these two juggernauts battling it out for the player's attention, has there been any time left for Pro Evolution Soccer to evolve, or is this another year where FIFA takes the cup?
