If you're planning on playing through "Bayonetta" here's my suggestion: Skip every cutscene, mute the music and ignore everything that seems remotely story related. If you just sit back and enjoy the visuals and fight mechanics, it's a pretty decent experience. Of course, without the cutscenes you're looking at a 4 to 5 hour long game, which brings up problems of its own. In the end, "Bayonetta" is a flashy, flawed release whose strengths are often overwhelmed by its weaknesses."

Not the only reason I don't like it, but really kinda reinforces it. Of course this is only one person, so it's taken with a grain of salt. Still not interested in the game though.
And I'm hearing that this game has some sick gameplay but if I must suffer an oversexed horned up hair wearing whore throughout the whole game, I'll pass.
Seriously their crossing to many lines
.....why did I just say that?
......why do you have the power to make anyone go off topic?
....damn you carousel.
As for story... This isn't the type of game where I would really care. It's a hack and slash, so the only thing I'm concerned about is how interesting the fight mechanics are. And judging by the demo I played, the mechanics are quite great.
Also all the games like this have very bland stories that are easily skippable, Devil May Cry, God of War and Ninja Gaiden all focus on the action side more than the story side, it's just common knowledge.
GoW is no MGS, but it certainly has the coolest storyline I've ever seen in a hack and slasher, and the cutscenes are better than most action games...
I admit, saying God of War has a bland storyline is a bit of an understatement. But it's storyline isn't anything to be amazed at and didn't leave me in utter awe. It's a basic story of a man getting stabbed in the back and wanting revenge, defeating the person who has harmed him in the first place and then taking that persons place. Whilst i will say it did have some great parts especially fighting multiple versions of yourself and the very start of the game against the hyrdra. Possibly the best part in the whole game is being in the underworld. Oh and the ending of the second game? Kratos being Zeus's son? OH I WONDER WERE I HAVE SEEN THAT BEFORE?
So please Hideo, stop your trying to prove that i "Pretend" to like games that come out from Sony, as alot of my collection of games consists of PS2 exclusives which i still cannot keep my hands off today.
If I was on a mission I'd be doing more time consuming things, like writing posts of that size and not reading them.
Seriously, there's cheaper and better masturbation material that you won't have to justify buying to your family.
Have to agree with that, the GoW franchise was based loosely on the Greek mythos, and there is no more awesome backstory for a hero.
Toughen up when I smack your teeth through the back of your skull. Not Directed at you.
Maybe I'll get something right the 3rd time
The only mistake you made was responding to blatant sarcasm with any seriousness.
Usually when someone says president they mean president of a country. But then again they usually add a THE at the front. It's not misreading, it's misinterpreting.People do it with my posts all the time.
You can't always assume people will know exactly what you mean.
I once said that most of a bunch of games were not worth playing imo and some guy got all pissed off thinking I was saying that the games sucked and that no one wanted to play them. All I meant was that I had no interest in most of the games.
You're just having boatloads of fail in this article, aren't ya?
