Heavy Rain: 9/10 (Playstation Magazine UK)

With all the Heavy Rain news recently, it's obvious that the game will be big when it comes out. Whether it's as good as everyone says it will be remains to be seen. The Official Playstation Magazine UK has an exclusive review from their editor-in-chief that will be published tomorrow giving the game a 9/10.

The title is awarded a coveted Gold Star, and an incredibly respectable 9/10. For those in the UK, remember that you can pre-order the HMV Exclusive Heavy Rain Collector’s Edition for £39.99.

The February 2010 issue of the Official Playstation Magazine UK, issue 41, will go on sale tomorrow. Within its glossy pages you can catch their full reviews on Heavy Rain, Final Fantasy XIII and Army of Two: 40th Day amongst others, as well as features on Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Final Fantasy XIII and the titles set to make 2010 a successful year for Playstation 3 owners.

    I really do hate it when reviews come out so damn long before the game does. Really, reviews should be released either on the day of the game's release, or maybe a couple days prior. But these reviews coming in a few weeks before are just annoying, 'cause you don't remotely know if they're truthful or not.

      That said a review a few days prior could still be a lie the same as one on the day of the game..

    I've always expected this game to review well, I'm just hoping it matches this commercially.
