GameZone's Michael Lafferty delivers his full review on White Knight Chronicles. His final impressions shed a positive light on the JRPG as the title shows definite promise for the upcoming sequel.

There are many elements endemic to the Japanese RPGs genre, but with real-time combat, stellar graphics, a good story and logic stones where progress can be saved (die and the game ends if save points were not created), White Knight Chronicles succeeds.

Just can't get my mind around JRPGs. The similarities just are so redundant from one title to the next that they tend to blur together.

Well nothing is really original anymore, whether it be JRPG's, FPS's or even Platformers.

Nice review too, liking the style, kinda seems like a return to the classics.

That's the thing about JRPGs...Yeah, there are a shittonne of crappy cliched ones, but every now and then, one will come along that takes all the good points of an JRPG and leaves out all the bad points.

This game is a cross between Monster Hunter, final fantasy 12 and the sims.. and because I loves all those games I am very excited to play this one tomorrow.

I'm pretty pumped for this game. I've always had a bit of a soft spot for jrpgs. Especially great ones like Persona.

Persona is among my favorite RPGs. Which one does everyone prefer? I lean more towards 3 or 4.

What you mean between 3 and 4?

I like 4 better. It's just a more polished game. However, I have to say 3 had a better atmosphere.
