GameZone's S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat Review

GameZone's Steven Hopper reviews S.T.A.L.K.E.R Call of Pripyat, saying that after the last STALKER game, Call of Pripyat is back in fine form. Aside from minor things, the overall experience is enjoyable.

"While not a big departure from other S.T.A.L.K.E.R. titles, Call of Pripyat’s gameplay manages to nail the sense of isolation and sparseness of its landscape very well, with firefights occurring not really as often as they would in other shooter titles. The game moves along very slowly and takes a while to truly pick up and feels pretty scripted at times, but is an otherwise solid experience."

    I love the STALKER series, you can always count on it to be faithful to itself and not attempt to change it's formula. Great games.

    I'm not liking the sound of a slow paced game. I play RPGs slow enough as it is. I don't need assistance in making the game triple it's estimated play time.

          You *bleep*ing suck at rhetoric. How in any way am I supposed to see that? No italicization, no emphasis in any way on key words. It reads as dry as your attempts at humor. I don't know who the *bleep* you are. I don't have any basis for your disposition with things and therefore no expectations to understand your poor humor.

          Stop parading around like you're so clever and it's somehow the other people that aren't clever enough to get it.

          Your execution sucks. Go hone your skills elsewhere and give it another go when you think you're ready.

          Also, your statement being rhetorical has no impact on my decision to respond to you. Since when do I care what your intentions where?
