Call of Duty Black Ops Voted ‘Best Game Ending’ Of All Time

Jeremy Parish types up a review for the Wii game, Shiren The Wanderer. Scoring it a B+, read on to find out why they think RPG lovers will like this game, if they give it a chance.
Atlus should be commended for publishing Shiren the Wanderer in the U.S. The series has long been a mainstay in Japan, but here it's the very definition of "niche." Still, I have to question the company's vocal claims that Shiren isn't a roguelike. I can almost understand their semantic waffling, because the term "roguelike" has a lot of negative connotations (largely belonging to people who don't really understand the purpose or nature of the genre). But the Shiren games are the premiere example of console roguelikes, and denying the series' nature makes it seem like they're trying to pull one over on fans.
