Caleb Newby has put forth his final impressions and full review of Last Rebellion for the PlayStation 3. This is the first review on the net for the title and he's critical of how it turned out.

There will be a niche group of dedicated RPGers who will be able to overlook the many shortcomings in Last Rebellion and delve into the deeper offerings. But for the vast majority, the many flaws will keep them away from a game that would already have an uphill battle in the North American market.

    Sometimes I wonder if developers actually properly playtest some of their games before releasing. 'Cause there's no way a developer sets out to make a bad game.

    I wish more quality J-RPGs would release on any of the consoles. =(
