Not for the faint of Dynasty Warrior... okay, so that phrase didn't work out as planned. What I meant to say is Dynasty Warriors fans should be pleased to see not every reviewer is out to get them.

In 2009, KOEI released Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce to PSP, so many found it strange that a console port would be heading to Xbox 360 and PS3 so soon. Then again, many simply joked that quantity was always the franchise’s best quality.

Meh, just DW with gimmicks. Boo.

I'll wait for when they port SW3 to the PS3 before paying attention methinks

I consider myself to be a hardcore Dynasty Warriors fan, but even I thought the demo for this wasn't that good. I played the Xbox 360 demo and the whole thing was such a mind*bleep*. It's just so radically different than the gameplay I was used to.

There's always a risk to changing things up so much (some will hate it, others love it), but I guess you can just consider Strikeforce another deviation from the main franchise.

I personally love what they're doing. Really hope the second one has custom characters.

I am a hardcore Dynasty Warriors fan and I see this game being a good thing for the series. More fictitious and less historical. More fantasy and less "One man worth a thousand."
