Michael Lafferty has delivered his review of Sony's heavily anticipated Heavy Rain and came away impressed. A graphical powerhouse, along with pushing the standards for gaming, Heavy Rain stands out in the opinion of Lafferty.

Heavy Rain: The Origami Killer is a tasty melding of different genres, with one foot in the real world in terms of environmental familiarity, and the other foot firmly entrenched in the surreal.

    Graphics are drop-dead gorgeous.

    I'm actually probably one of the very few---if only---people who believe the graphics are not all that. I mean they're alright, not bad, but not exactly one of the best either.

    But that's okay because I still love the game. Graphics are only a small part in whether I like a game or not.
