The review focuses mainly on the team-based aspect of the game and even states that it grades the graphics on a sliding rule due to the large amount of action taking place at once.

MAG doesn’t spend a lot of time fleshing out a deep story for players. It’s pretty simple and it works though. It’s the near future and instead of the world being dominated by governments, corporate entities have taken control and battle one another for all-out economic control. There are three different corporate militias including a Russian-esque coalition, UK/US group and a Western European group.
