GameZone's Michael Lafferty took a look at Sony's exclusive new MLB 10 The Show, saying it is far better than its previous iterations. The new mechanics really make this game that much more realistic.

"While the game is not perfect it is a far sight better than previous iterations. Years ago there was a MVP baseball game on the PC that was top-drawer (IMO) and MLB 10 rivals, if not exceeds, that. Top to bottom, this is an entertaining game to look at and play."

hopefully they fixed the hitting. When a fastball right down the middle gets thrown to Arod, Big Albert, Ryan Howard and any other good hitter they do not ground out to second base 9 times outta 10. Nothing pissed me off more than having solid contact and wheelhouse power and my best hitter gets out by some bum pitcher.

It is a shame that the best baseball game every year can only be played on one console. Still, congrats Sony.
