Tower Defense games have been around for a while but really exploded in popularity in the last couple of years with the introduction of Desktop Tower Defense and Plants Vs Zombies. Microsoft owned Signal Studios jumped feet first into the Tower Defense genre with the recently released Toy Soldiers to kick off Xbox Live Arcade’s Block Party for the month of March. In the process they’ve created a unique experience that stands apart from other Tower Defense games.
