GameZone's Steven Hopper arms himself for his latest review of Metal Slug XX. Is this port of the DS version worth it for everyone to pick up, or is this only for the purest of Metal Slug fans?

Metal Slug XX is a fine addition to the franchise, giving hardcore legions of fans what they’ve come to want and love from the series. However, those expecting to see the franchise branch out and change up the formula will be disappointed.

    Never played any of the Metal Slug games... and this one ain't gonna tempt me in. Nice review though.
