A review of BioWare's latest offering for Mass Effect 2, the Firewalker expansion pack. Sure the idea sounded cool, but the whole thing almost leaves you wondering if the Mako wasn't so bad after all...

The remaining couple of missions are fairly simple “go here, jump out and do a little bit of exploring on foot” affairs, really nothing special. There’s a bit of experience to be gained along with some resources, cash and a research project so it’s not a total waste of time. Each of the missions also takes place in totally new star systems (attached to existing star clusters) so you’ve got another dozen or so worlds to strip-mine for palladium should you feel the need.
