The Exponent Review: God of War 3 may disappoint gamers

God of War 3 is an incredibly beautiful game with some unforgettable set pieces scattered throughout, but the lack of interesting new ideas or refinements makes the final game in Kratos' story uninspired and disappointing.

“God of War 3” is competent, but it will leave many players unhappy. The hackneyed ending will disappoint fans invested in Kratos’ story, and the developers’ slavish devotion to stale game mechanics won’t appeal to new players experienced in similar games that have more depth.

    it's a ps3 exclusive so stale gameplay or no stale gameplay it's gunna get 10/10 from reviewers

      Agreed.

      I'm not trying to sound fanboyish, but if you release a sequel in a major franchise exclusive to a platform, the platform's magazines are going to give it 10/10 regardless. Mario, God of War, Gears of War, Zelda - all the same.

      Only exception is when a game really, really sucks. Like Too Human.
