Sonic and SEGA All Stars Racing (with Banjo-Kazooie) is a game published by SEGA and made by Sumo Digital.

It is an arcade racing game that features characters like Sonic, Samba De Amigo and even the N64 classic and now Xbox Live Arcade characters Banjo-Kazooie.

Sonic and SEGA All Stars Racing is a game just like Mario Kart, but is it better than Nintendo’s popular arcade racing original?

You start off by taking a test drive which is like a tutorial race. It teaches you the basic controls and concepts of the game.

Sonic and SEGA All Stars Racing’s tutorial is much better than some of the tutorials that I have done, but most gamers will find the arcade driving easy to work out anyway.

Modes

There is no story mode that you have to play and instead you have a mode where you complete different objectives to pass the level.

For example in one mission you have to collect gems and in another one you have to drift a lot to beat the challenge. There are normal race objectives as well so it is a very diverse mode.

Another mode is the Grand Prix mode where you try to win different cups. Each cup has 4 races that you compete in to win the cup. You score points by getting a place in the race.
