GamingShogun.com has posted their review of Ubisoft's latest Splinter Cell title, Splinter Cell: Conviction. They give the game high-marks for the its new enhancements to stealth gameplay such as 'mark & execute', 'last known position', and the enhanced cover and movement system. Conviction puts players in the shoes of ex-operative Sam Fisher as he attempts to track down his daughter's killer(s).

I’ve never been a huge fan of the Tom Clancy games. Sure, I’d been enough of a fan to enjoy a play-through of most of the Splinter Cell titles and the odd used copy of a Rainbow Six or Ghost Recon game but I have an impatient style of play and a twitchy trigger-finger. I want nothing more in my action games than to kick doors down and shoot people in the face, which you get to do in this game quite frequently… but more on that later. Maybe the decades of sugar and cartoons have damaged me in some profound way, but there’s nothing more boring in my eyes than stopping to think my actions through in a shooter...
