It's seemed far too long since our first meeting with Alan Wake as a teaser trailer an infamous age ago. Ebbing away from the shadows now and into the light makes the wait for psychological horror fans a reward of patience, with great storytelling, tense combat and gives the genre a little boost in the right direction.
