Bone-idle.ie : Transformers War For Cybertron Review

This is an interesting review of the new game Transformers war for Cybertron for the xbox360 PS3 and PC from the Irish gamign website www.Bone-idle.ie. They think the game is quite average.

Transformers is the third release from the franchise in recent year but the good news for fans is that this is nothing to do with the movies if fact its even set pre cartoon, in the story line. This is good news for fans of Transformers as the film licenced games recently have been pretty awful. Essentially this is the back story before the cartoon, before Optimus became a prime, a lesson in the history of the Transformers

    That review was as good as the guy's grammar :/

    I understand that everyone has opinions but he seems like someone that just decided to pick up the game and has no interest in Transformers at all. The environments look great, not bland or boring. He mentioned that turrets were hard to distinguish from walls...what shoots at you? In a mechanical world, it makes sense.

    He also bashed the commentary going on throughout the campaigns which really shows how little he cares about the game. Those added flavor and personality to the bots throughout the story.

    Some points though, like those about ammo are quite valid. Just the rest of it is unreliable.

    The game was a sleeper to me. I never heard much about it prior to it's release, but now it's getting some rave reviews. I must check it out when it comes down in price a bit, I'm not the biggest Transformers fan, but this looks fun.

      The campaign lasts about 10 hours and the multiplayer can be fun. I haven't played it in at least a week due to online issues at the time.
